PodiumxRT Hardware Recommendations

PodiumxRT 1.5 progressive path tracing engine, and uses your computer’s GPU(Mac or Windows) or CPU to accelerate rendering when rendering still images. We recommend using the Cycles GPU as this option provides the fastest and highest quality rendered images.

In order of importance, these are the things you should prioritize when building a system for GPU or CPU rendering with PodiumxRT 1.5

• GPU speed and power – The more GPU cores, the better.
• CPU speed – If you choose the CPU render engine option, the faster clock speed and greater number of performance cores generally yields faster rendering.
• RAM – Recommend at least 8GB, though 64GB+ is preferred. RAM does not affect render speed, but too little RAM may prevent you from working on highly complex models.
